BTS to Join Star-studded Performers for “Music On A Mission” Virtual Charity Concert During Grammy Week

BTS have been confirmed by The Recording Academy to perform at MusiCares “Music on a Mission” virtual concert for the Grammy Week.

The virtual event will take place on March 12th and will feature performances and special footage appearances by notable artists including, Bruce Springsteen, H.E.R, HAIM, Jhene Haiko, John Legend, Tom Petty & Stevie Nicks, Usher, BTS and more! There will be special appearances by Carole King, Jesse & Joy, Jonas Brothers, Ledisi, Lionel Ritchie, Macklemore, Mick Fleetwood, Ringo Starr, Shakira and others.

The virtual concert will take place on March 12th tickets go for $25 and all proceeds will go to those hardest hit by the pandemic.

The concert will come hot on the heel of the Grammy Awards where BTS have been nominated for best pop duo/group performance for “Dynamite” their no. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for 3 nonconsecutive weeks. they recently performed on MTV Unplugged giving fans the very first live performances of their songs “Blue & Grey,” and “Telepathy,” from their “BE” album and also did an unforgettable cover of Cold Play’s “Fix You

In the past year, BTS donated $1 Million to Crew Nation, in support of those who usually work with them at concerts but are unable due to the pandemic. They also brought in over $160K through their donated Dynamite outfits in the MusiCares auction, and now are they are part of the awesome performers for the Music On A Mission virtual charity event.  They’re making an impact supporting those in need within the industry. January 2020 BTS helped bring in another $83,000 for MusiCares by donating their tour microphones!
