BTS have inspired a myriad of projects by their fans who have one collective in mind, to “love myself” and “love others.” ARMY have always celebrated BTS’ special days like birthdays, anniversaries, music video milestones and wins. BTS ARMY South Africa Opened the “The Kim Seokjin Baby Unit” at Goedgedacht Farm, South Africa, a center to take care of toddlers as part of their celebration of the “Abyss” vocalist.
The project was enabled through a charity drive by “OneInAnArmy” under the #BElongWithJin campaign where fans had donated funds to celebrate BTS Jin’s Birthday.
“One In An ARMY is a fan collective of volunteers around the globe. Driven by our shared interest in global superstars, BTS, and the idea of using our collective power for global good, we seek out non-profit organizations worldwide and harness the power of ARMY into giving micro-donations over a one month period. The Goedgedacht Trust was established in 1993 to contribute to the transformation of disadvantaged rural communities in the West Coast region of the Western Cape. To meet the challenges faced by rural communities, the Trust developed and implemented a creative and sustainable flagship, Path Onto Prosperity (POP) Program, catering to the needs of children at different stages of their lives, starting with the first 1 000 days until adulthood.
